“Writing’s Not A Race”: A Poetry Reading & Discussion. (Francisco Aragón, John Murillo, Diana Marie Delgado, Gina Franco, Brenda Cárdenas)

Five poets read from forthcoming poetry collections that have all been—unapologetically and by design—“in-progress” for ten to fifteen years. Following the reading, the poets will briefly share why this pace of production and publication suits them, offering a perhaps less fashionable but no less valid model and tradition of artistic practice.
